Luxury villa rentals Cala Salada

A beach with great success

Surrounded by a sublime pine forest, Cala Salada offers a wild and natural dimension. By car, bus or boat, you can get to this beach quite easily. Located north of San Antonio, Cala Salada has two beaches, including a beautiful secluded cove. The latter is a favourite spot for residents and owners of private boats. The water is perfectly clear, shallow and calm, making it perfect for swimming. In addition, the bottom of the sea consists mainly of fine sand, pleasant under the foot in the water. A victim of its success, it is quite busy in the summer, where visitors disperse themselves between Cala Salada and its neighbour Cala Saladita.

Many sites to explore

The more adventurous will be able to cliff jump; as for the lovers of sunbathing, they will be able to bask in the blazing sun. To the right of the beach is a picturesque stone tower from which paths lead to the small sandy beach of Cala Salamita. This preserved natural trail offers very nice walks. Within Cala Salada, you will find the caves of Ses Fontanelles, famous for their cave paintings dating back to the Stone Age. The walk is long, but worth the effort. From the cliffs, the view is incredible. If you still have energy, you can go down the imposing stone steps leading to the sea, to indulge in a swim in privacy (while remaining vigilant)!

Bars and traditional restaurants

Also, you will find a comfortable infrastructure offering bars and restaurants. Among them, the Cala Salada (simply named as the beach) is extremely popular with locals and is ideal for savouring good traditional specialties such as seafood paella. Also, you will find a kiosk for small gourmet breaks, offering ice cream and cold drinks.
