In this part of the island you cannot miss Ibiza Town (Eivissa in Catalan). The bucolic and picturesque atmosphere of its old town has a truly singular atmosphere. At the top of Dalt Vila, you can visit the famous cathedral of Eivissa, with a massive and impressive appearance. Dating from the 16th century, it was built in a classical style to be renovated 3 centuries later in a Baroque style: a wonderful way to achieve style changes over the centuries. Another must-see church is Santo Domingo, for which construction lasted a century!
We also recommend strolling along the Renaissance ramparts, where you will see sublime panoramas that are waiting for your camera. Initially built to protect itself from the Turkish attacks of the time, this wall delimits today the part of the city inscribed to the UNESCO World Heritage List.
