A village for nature lovers
Sant Jordi is famous for sheltering within it the Natural Park Ses Salines. Even though the Ibiza Saltworks are no longer active, they help conserve the environment and protect it. Stretching over Ibiza and Formentera, the Ses Salines Natural Park is a paradise for all nature lovers. This site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999, is definitely worth a visit. From stunning natural landscapes to remarkable birdlife, Sant Jordi is ideal
for a wonderful family outing.
A must-have flea market
Sant Jordi is particularly famous for its flea market which attracts, every Saturday, a crowd of tourists and locals. On the racecourse of Sant Jordi, this spectacular market offers all kinds of second-hand products: from fashion items to books to vinyls and decorative items, you will find something you like! Much more popular than its sidekick, Las Dalias, this flea market exudes joyful living and conviviality. Shows are also regularly organised to make the experience even more enjoyable.
The authentic side of Ibiza
Far from the vibrant nightlife that has built the island's reputation, Sant Jordi is a small traditional village where life is good. An impressive church dominates the center of Sant Jordi. It is also the best preserved church on the island of Pityuses. As a family, stroll along the winding alleys of Sant Jordi in search of traditional restaurants to taste the typical dishes of the island or simply stroll and discover this beautiful village.
