Discover Ibiza’s hidden treasures

Las Puertas del cielo: Located just outside of Santa Ines, this hidden spot which literally means “heaven’s gates” is a must visit to connect with nature, as it is surrounded by verdant pines trees. This rock formation as well as Ses Margalides, another one situated right opposite form a gate-like arch where the sea in the middle looks as though it is disappearing into infinity. It is recommended to go to Las Puertas del cielo to watch the sunset, practice some yoga or meditation for a moment of guaranteed peace and tranquility.

Punta Galera: Situated in the South of the renowned creek Cala Salada, just North of San Antonio, Punta Galera is a fascinating rock formation which looks like a multitude of shelves falling into the Mediterranean Sea. For those who would like to read their favourite novel far away from beach clubs and noise, settle down in this pollution-free environment and make the most of the peace and quiet as well as take some incredible photos, head to Punta Galera!

Es Portitxol: This gem located in the north of the island somewhere between San Mateu and San Miguel is one of the most hidden coves of the islands. This circular bulb of paradise with crystal clear water and traditional fisherman's huts is the ideal spot to get away from the crowd. It is important to note that to reach Es Portitxol, one has to hike downhill for 30 minutes, but it will definitely be worth the adventure and the instagram story!

Es Amunts Natural Park: This 15 000 hectare protected natural park stretching from San Antonio to San Carlos in the north-west of Ibiza is home to an impressive ecosystem which can be discovered through hikes to fully connect with nature. The incredible fauna and flora is located in coastal areas such as Cala Xarraca and Cala Salada which are easily accessible as well as in land areas where travellers can discover some traditional architectures as well as fortified churches in villages such as a Santa Agnes for an excursion definitely off the beaten track.
